Enjoy British Folk Music?

Greetings today!

I just came across two excellent resources if you are interested in British Folk music.

My wife found one called Folkwords and the link is www.folkwords.com . This site is authored by Tim
who is about my age actually and he still seems to be functioning well.
This site is very detailed about the roots of British Folk and reviews folk groups and provides links to many of them.
Tim is wirting a book and is constantly researching, so it's very likely you will find something of interest.

The other site is called Folk and Roots and the link is www.folkandroots.co.uk . THis site is kind of a networking site amongst British folk musicians and the author seems intent on keeping anyone without a genuine interest at bay.

There is some great stuff here. I found it more into the actual music and venues and festivals in GB. So if your planning a visit you will already know where to go to hear great British folk music.

Check out these sites and let me know what you think. In fact, I would love to hear from you about this site as well.

Blessings,
Bluegrassrom
